Tawny Pipit Anthus campestris
 
Identification: Large pale upright pipit. Dark loral stripe and obvious median covert bar. Little or no streaks on the underparts.
Information: Distribution: breeds on the continent, uncommon visitor to the British Isles.
Similar species: Richard's Pipit. This and other large pipits require experience.
