Identification: Large thrush always in flocks. Red-brown back and blue-grey head and rump distinctive.
Information: Distribution: common passage migrant and winter visitor to the British Isles. Breeds in Northern Scotland.
Similar species: Mistle Thrush in flight is similar but solitary. In flight Mistle Thrush has a gap between wings and body. Mistle Thrush has a scolding churr, Fieldfare chuckles.
