Bank Vole Clethrionomys glareolus
 
Identification: Blunt snout and red-brown fur. Medium sized tail. Ears slightly less covered in hair than Field Vole. Very difficult to tell from Field Vole; length of tail measurements overlap between these two species.
Information: Distribution: widespread thoughout Britain. Woodland.
Similar species: Short-tailed Field Vole.
